I took his intro EMAG course. He's a brilliant guy. I think some of that leaks into tests and homework that will really challenge you. However, he does a good job of covering the material and can really break things down if you ask him questions during office hours. One of the best EMAG professors to take though if your looking to learn the material. Oh, he's also eccentric, which makes class fun.
