Welcome To SitInLecture and Happy New Year!

SitInLecture is a free professor review site created by and for Georgia Tech students that features audio clips from over 70 professors across 17 departments. SiL offers a new, insightful decision-making resource to help you make a more educated choice when registering for classes with multiple instructor offerings.

You now have the opportunity to analyze professor enthusiasm, passion, dynamics, class involvement, and other characteristics that SGA's Course Critique or word-of-mouth may fail to provide.

The quality of the professor can determine your exitement about going to class, overal enthusiasm and interest in the subject, and of course, how well you learn the material. What you major in, concentrate in, go to grad school in, or get a job in is heavily directed by how your professors turn you on or off to certain subjects. Choose them wisely.

 Choose a Professor...

Who is this site for?

Currently, Freshmen and Sophomores will get the most value out of SiL because the majority of classes featured are required classes like calc, physics, econ, health, etc. Also, those bigger classes are the ones that tend to have multiple professors teaching them, so the choice is more difficult to make.

For the first time, you can virtually sit in on a professor's class before registering.

This Week's Featured Professor:

John Cressler
Electrical and Computer Engineering
